I like to keep my make up very seasonal so I have now ditched the bright pink lipsticks and coral blushes for smoky eyes and dramatic eyeliner. For the skin I love contouring in the colder months as I tend to ditch the bronzer. The Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow is the best make up product I have ever invested in to contour with. I also like wearing a very matte foundation so I have pulled out my much loved Laura Mercia Silk Creme Foundation (it has now been re-formulated which I am yet to try) and team it with the primer which is so light weight so it leaves the skin feeling like it can still breathe. Sometimes I feel like my skin can look grey and lifeless so as a added boost of glow I've been mixing the Burberry Fresh Glow in with my foundation to lift everything up.
My favourite look in the autumn and winter months is having a blush that makes your cheeks looks like you have just come into a warm cafe from being outside in the icy cold air. Stay Blushed by Rimmel in sun kissed cherry is a great transitional shade to achieve this. It's a creme formula which makes for easy application if you want to create a very subtle look.
I cannot express my love in words how much I love a great smoky eye. I love using warm chocolate and chestnut browns and the Nars 'And God Created the Woman' has been perfect for this (I got this as a Christmas present last year from a good friend of mine- I hope they bring it out again for this year!).

It's all about berry lips, in all textures for me at the moment. The Maybelline Color Drama in Keep it Classy is stunning for a day time look and when I really want to stand out I wear Dior Mysterious Shock which was a Christmas limited edition product last year.
If you are going to be wearing a lot of smoky eyes this season I would highly recommend putting an eye primer like the Urban Decay Potion Primer underneath so the shadow doesn't crease or move out of place. When I'm going out I also like to finish my eye look with a bold liner and lashes of mascara. Rimmel Exaggerate liner is super easy to use and dries fast so it doesn't smear.
